About this Product

Live Sawn White Oak comes from a traditional milling process that captures all the natural unique grain variations occurring in wood. Live sawn boards are created by cutting the log straight through, creating very little waste. The resulting live sawn white oak flooring displays plain sawn, rift sawn, and quarter sawn white oak patterns in each piece. This milling highlights all grain and character variations.

Live sawn white oak flooring is available in 3/4″ solid or 3/4″ engineered hardwood flooring.

Traditionally only available in wide plank flooring, typically 7″ or 8” widths.

Character

Wide variation in both color & natural characters consisting of a mixture of the grades above, allowing for a floor with longer planks and a wide variation of natural features. This grade is specifically designed to create a floor with high visual interest. All characteristics must be sound.
