About this Product

Our two-layer engineered hardwood flooring is available in 5/8 inch and 3/4-inch total thickness hardwood flooring. We manufacture white oak wide plank engineered hardwood flooring, quarter sawn white oak wide plank engineered hardwood flooring, hickory wide plank engineered hardwood flooring It is constructed of one layer of 12mm or 15mm exterior grade birch plywood and a 4mm or 6mm hardwood lamella.

One of the benefits of this two-layer construction in comparison to solid hardwood floors is the increased dimensional stability provided by having plywood as the bottom layer. The interlocked grain of the layers in the plywood makes it less likely for gapping or crowning to occur due to changing atmospheric conditions. Our hardwood lamellas are resawn from kiln dried 4/4 lumber that is hand-picked for grade and conditioned to prevent cup and warp. Tight specs are maintained in order to provide a consistent and lasting wear layer.

Fairly consistent in appearance with natural color variations with other natural character features limited, providing an overall uniform appearance. May contain a small tight knot every 3’ and other small solid natural features.

Wide variation in both color & natural characters consisting of a mixture of the grades above, allowing for a floor with longer planks and a wide variation of natural features. This grade is specifically designed to create a floor with high visual interest. All characteristics must be sound.

#2 Common

May contain a variety of sound imperfections, both natural and manufacturing. This floor is suitable of general utility use or where the most rustic look is desired. The acceptable lengths are short, with a wide range of color and character present.
